Current Students and Projects
Chelsea Rebelo is a Masters student working on a very unusual kyanite bearing eclogite (pictured below). Her project will involve a bulk rock and trace element reconstruction of kyanite-bearing eclogite xenoliths from the Roberts Victor kimberlite pipe, South Africa. The overarching aim will be to contribute to the existing petrogenetic model of the xenoliths as remnants of subducted oceanic crust.
Her supervisors are Professor Steve Richardson and Dr. Beth Kahle.
